In case you’re wondering, No, I did NOT watch last night’s eppy of Amazing Race. How could I? The 2 hour of season finale of Charmed was on. What would Colby say if he knew I missed it? LOL Anyway, compared to last season’s finale, it was considerably tamer. Anyhow, there were lots of shots of the Golden Gates bridge, so I’m happy (you know why.. if you’re gooooing to Saaaan Fraaanciscooooo, be sure to wear sunflowers in your hair) *sigh*
Anyway, back to business. Is it wrong that I’m more excited to see the wildcard group perform, rather than the 9 already chosen ones for the Finals? I’m glad that most of my picks actually got chosen (especially YIN who was really underestimated by many many viewers). If I could have one more person to put in the bunch, I’d most likely pick Anis, but I’m fine with the current selection. I’m still pissed Erskine Walcott wasn’t called back for the AI Wildcard show. His rendition of Open Arms was beautifully done. He was so robbed.

I think the show will be a good one and the competition will be between the two fan favourites. Syima and Nikki. I will personally vote for Syima all the way. Sorry Nikki fans. I think other than her falsetto (which is mighty impressive, by the way) her voice sounds kinda flat to me, and stage presence.. not so much. Call me deaf if you want to, but there are still people out there saying Jac is a Fantasia-clone for crying out loud. Talk about hearing issues. Sheesh.
Hopefully the contestants will choose the right song (whatever the hell that means) for tomorrow’s show. All the best to the eight wildcards! Make Malaysians proud.
