Culturally Preconditioned

Yes. I be biting the hand that’s been feeding me. I’ve had it up to here (*points to neck*) with blogger.com and my host provider. They fricken suck donkey balls! I haven’t been able to update my blog like I usually do for the past few weeks. For your info, I’ve been updating my blog entries manually (keying in HTML codes) and uploading the files manually to my server.

I’ve been getting connection time out errors, and none of these two parties are helpful in helping me to solve the problem. I have no problem ftp-ing my files manually onto my server. But when I try to publish the files via blogger’s ftp engine, it just don’t work, goddammit. They say it’s an Active/Passive FTP restriction and stuff, but I call bullshit on that cause I haven’t made any changes on both servers for the past year.

As much as I would love to bite and maim both blogger and my host server cause they’ve been none too helpful, I am rather hesitant to look for other services. Blogger.com provides great functionalities, despite their non-existent support (as for as I know, some people have reported this problem since 2004 and no solution was provided except to change their webhost. And my host provider, on the other hand, well let’s just say the bandwidth and disk space they’re providing is a steal.

*sigh* what am I to do.. what am I to do *sigh*

So.. temporary solution for the time being, use blogger’s blogspot to host my blog for the time being. (You try to do them a favour by taking of the bandwidth from their site but…. noooooooo). Oh well. More updates coming soon. I can’t even bother to adjust my template settings, although I really dig the “Viewing” description on the right panel. We all know, besides pr0n, I’m also a reality junkie.
