Survivor : Cook Islands - Episode 7 and 8
Wow.. has it been that long since my last Survivor update? Thousand apologies.. what’s with the DeepaRaya celebrations and whatnots, I was too preoccupied (read : lazy) to make updtes. Anyway, I was in JB for Raya, and I managed to catch Singapore’s Channel 5 finally showing the premier episode of Survivor : Cook Islands. I was told that they didn’t want to run the show because of the racial divide issue (not sure how true this is).. but if that was the case, they’d probably realize that the race issue didn’t matter at all in this season. Like I said, if they wanted to raise a huge issue out of the racial thing, they would’ve split the races among the four teams to see if they would band together regardless which tribe they are on. In any case, kudos to TCS 5 for showing the the latest season (even though they’re 8 weeks behind).. at least they’re a whole lot better than our fucking local tv station.
Okay, I’m gonna stop rambling now and post the overdue Episode 7 and Episode 8. Episode 7 is a recap of the first 6 episodes (although I actually think it’s more of a NEW FOOTAGE episode than a recap episode). And Episode 8 is the continuoum (is this is even a word?) of the normal show.

I’ve had some problems with yousendit of late.. so I’m not really sure if those downloads work. Someone let me know if they don’t.
Anyway, I got yet another mention in this week’s Armchair Survivor.. (’our Malaysian friend.. eye-zad’).. they were discussing about my mention of the opening credits theory. Again, this isn’t based on any kinds of spoiler, but purely 100% speculations from the opening credits scene.. I still think Candace will be this season’s winner. Lots of stuff to review, but I don’t feel like writing much right now.
And, fuck, I haven’t written a single word for my NaNoWriMo for the past three days. Fucking hell. At this rate, this probably will be the third FAILED attempt. Deadlines are my nemesis. Fucking writer’s block.. look at me, I’ve hit a plateau. (But you gotta admit, the flash library card is totally bitchin’!)

Hi. I know it’s a bit late. But do u still have Survivor 13 with you? I’m watching it up to episode 6 in youtube and them CBS took it down. So, the only Survivor episode left is the new Season 14 episode 3.
You better go catch it if u haven’t watch it. Dunno when CBS will act again.
If u don’t have it, can u tell me where I can d/l it?

Hi Reiyi. Have you tried downloading it from torrent? I think you might also find the old episodes on Mirc. Let me know if you need to know how to download the stuff from torrent or mirc.

Hi. I found some torrents for Survivor 13, but the download is very slow and hardly moving. Only torrent is downloading decently (around 4kB/s). The others are either ‘time left is 99:99:99′ or cannot connect at all. Emule also the same.
I never use Mirc. So, dunno how it works.

Here’s a ‘guide’ as to how to download the episodes using MIRC.

It looks a bit scary at first, but once you get the hang of it, it should be easy. But the downside to mirc is, instead of peer to peer sharing, you’re downloading straight from the server - so that means, you will be placed in a queue for your file (which may take several hours or days)
