Amazing Race 12 starts November 4th - omg Go Lesbian Ministers!!!
Okay, so I made my peace with the TARA2 casting assholes for picking 100% mactors and as Michale McKay (the exec producer) had so eloquently put it, they’ve been picked because he thinks that, to directly quote him, “it helps (that the contestants are ‘well known’) if people (aka the viewers) know and can identify the contestants”. Man, what an idjit. What does he take me for? A hormonally charged pimple-faced teenager??? He’s got this viewer SO wrong (I’m a hormonally charged pimple-faced thirty one year old, thank you). Aaaanyway.. enough sour grapes on my part. I’m going to make sure I’ll enjoy TAR Asia 2 nonetheless, because Mactors deserve to have fun as much as ‘regular folks’ do if they’re fans of the show too.. so have at it. But if they want to get on the show just to get their fuckiing fifteen minutes’ worth of fame, then they can go lick my cat’s neutered and empty ball sac.
And one of the better surprises I’ve had this year. Originally, The Amazing Race 12 (the US version) was scheduled to be aired in January/February.. leaving TAR Asia 2 to be the ‘filler’ program this November.. but mother of all surprises, CBS decides to release the show in November 4th!! That’s two weeks from now, people! YAY! Looks like TAR Asia 2 will have some company on AXN (yes, AXN will be showing both show, thankfully, with TAR 12 showing on November 5th - mark those calendars!).

The producers probably think Asians are stupid to judge between a good reality show and models with good looks.

I don’t feel the excitement I did with TARA1 at all with this second dishing. when you first posted that quote from the romber wannabes I was already totally turned off. But I AM excited about TAR12!
BTW are you still watching Heroes? I’m not too interested anymore, got kinda boring. Now I’m watching cos of Monica, like her character, I hope they do something great for her and not give her some lame story.
And survivor isn’t even worth downloading anymore. I downloaded the first three or four but not as interesting as i had hoped.

Gallivanter : Tell me about it. I am secretly loving CBS pulling a fast one on AXN by releasing TAR12 at the same time as TARA2. LOLgasm.
Y : Yeah.. that little ‘Romber’ quote turned me off a LOT - especially that he’s professed that he’s a ‘drama king’. I’m still watching Heroes.. but to tell you the truth, I think the lamest storyline this season is Hiro’s story in feudal Japan. The Elders storyline seems interesting.. but I totally <3 Monica! I like her a lot.. just like I did Charlie (the all-knowing waitress they killed in Season 1). Survivor.. well however much it sucks, I’m pretty sure I’ll be a sucker to watch all of them. LOL. Interestingly enough, I think the best shows I’ve watched this new TV season are Desperate Housewives and Ugly Betty.

yep that white man in japan story is so lame… wtf, japan’s hero is a omputeh sesat? how lame and insulting is that. i downloaded the latest episode just to see monica and her moves, esp love that bruce lee thing haha love her! i didn’t bother with anything else. oh ya i wish they had killed sylar off for good, his story is sooooo lame too.

On another note.. I was flicking through the channels and unfortunately stumbled on the ‘reunion’/penultimate show for Project Runway Malaysia. I know most of the flaming guys on there are simply bitches, but I didn’t realize they were so unnecessarily mean and juvenile too. Can you blame the others for not ‘embracing’ you cunts? Glad I didn’t waste my time watching this show (sorry Zab).

Speaking of Asians, TARA2 can suck my wang. I’m still going to watch it but seriously Izad, your blog would probably be funnier than anything anyone says on the show because they’re mostly braindead famewhore fuckers. I also hate the reason they gave for the casting.
Why the fuck don’t they learn that the best Amazing Race seasons (1/2/3) were the ones with no mactors, or that they were good because mactors were eliminated early (season 5, suck shit Allison you skankwhore).
JJ/Zab + AndyLau + SanFran > the entire TARA2 cast.

i’d still watch ARA2 just because. but it’s not like i’d put anything on hold just to watch the famewhores.
the sole casting of mactors just rub me the wrong way, like stepping on dog shit when wearing brand new shoes. watching half the cast of ARA1 was already as painful as watching paint dry, & now they cast these supposedly prettier, more interesting numbnuts. yes, i’m judging the books by its covers. but really. if i want to watch mactors prancing about, i’ll watch dancing with the stars or whatnot.
it’s a good thing TAR12 is now neck to neck in scheduling with ARA2, so to make the producers of ARA2 see how inane their casting choices were. & if they continue with lame challenges like in season 1, then i’ll treat ARA2 as comedy.
speaking of TAR12 casting, tho, it’s a shame they’ve resorted to casting no alpha male teams just to have an all female team win. but it still beats ARA2 casting!
